Pack Parent Meeting
Thursday, Feb 11th 6:30 PM

West Valley Middle School would like to again invite any parent of MS and/or elementary age students to their next Pack Parent Meeting that have questions and concerns about moving 5th graders to the MS for the 2010-11 school year. The Pack Parent Board has set their next meeting Thursday, February 11th 6:30 PM in the MS library focusing on this topic. Peter Ansingh, Superintendent of WVSD, will also be attending. Please feel free to invite other parents that share your questions and concerns to the meeting.

Levy Time Again! It is once again time for the school district to place the Maintenance and Operations Levy on the February ballot. The Maintenance and Operations Levy is used to maintain and operate programs that are not funded or are only partially funded by state and federal support. The new levy replaces the current levy which is due to expire in 2010.
Levy funds represent about 16% of the school district’s annual budget. Every student benefits from the levy funds. Levy funds support everything from buying textbooks and computers to providing for teachers for your neighborhood schools. The list of programs that the levy supports goes on and on. If you would like to get involved with the levy, please contact your principal.
