AFTER SCHOOL ACTIVITIES

Walking/Running Club

When: Starting Sept.10 every Monday and Wednesday we will meet from 2:30 to 4:00

Where: Outside the gym.

What: You choose your pace and distance. We’ll keep track of times and chart progress!

Open to all 6 th Graders.

Outdoor Sports

When: Starting Sept. 11 every Tuesday and Thursday we will meet from 2:30 to 4:00

Where: Outside the gym.

What: You choose the games we’ll do that day. Options include, whiffle ball, Frisbee football, baseball, field hockey, and anything else we can think of.

Open to all 6 th Graders.

Model Kit Club

When: Tuesdays 3:00 to 4:30 * Starting Tuesday Sept 16

Where: in room 604 (Mr. Freeze’s room)

What: A chance for you to make a model car, the first car is free. After that make a model you bring to the club. Most paint and glue supplies will be provided.

Open to all 6 th graders.

Wacky Chefs

When: Tuesdays & Wednesdays afterschool until 4:00 Starting Tuesday Sept . 16

Where: the 600 wing with Mrs. Wilmoth

What: Baking. Creating. Fixing and preparing items in the kitchen or for the home.

Open to 6 th and 7 th graders!

Math Olympiad

When: mornings before school*, starting later in September TBA

Where: room 306, with Mrs. Lehmann

What: a chance to improve your math skills, practice WASL type math problems, compete in a mid-valley math competition

Open to 6 th and 7 th graders
