In subtraction, you will get a positive answer if the number you start with is greater than the number you subtract. +17- +15 =+2
Formulas for Filling and Wrapping

• Area of a rectangle = length x width
  Area of a square = Side squared
  Area of a circle = Pi x radius squared
  Area of a triangel = base x height divided by 2
  Volume of rectangular prism = length x width x height
  Volume of a cylinder = area of the base x height
  Volume of a sphere = 4/3 x pi x radius to the third power
  Volume of a cone = 1/3 pi x radius squared x height
  Volume of a pyramid = Area of the base ( L x W) x Height divided by 3
  Surface area of a rectangular prism = find the area of each face and add the areas of the faces
  Surface area for a cylinder = 2 x pi x radius squared + 2 x pi x r x h
  Surface area of a cone = Pi x r x s + Pi x radius squared
