Welcome to our classroom web page. I can’t wait to get to know each and every one of you during this school year. Here is a little bit about me …

I graduated from Eastern Washington University with a B.A. in Elementary Education. I then went on to earn my Master’s degree from Central Washington University as a Reading Specialist.

I started my teaching career in Las Vegas teaching first grade for two years. My husband and I then decided to move “back home” and I was hired to teach first grade at Cottonwood Elementary. After having my first child, I decided I’d like to be home part time and transferred to teach here at the middle school. I am now back to teaching full time and this is my seventh year teaching at West Valley Middle School. I love it here and I hope you will too!

I have a daughter Jillian who is seven and a son Garrett who is five. My husband Jim and I have been married for 13 years. As a family, we enjoy spending time on Lake Pend Oreille and traveling as much as possible.
