Why Technology Engineering?
The Technology Engineering Laboratory is a place for solving open-ended problems. Design engineering is a life skill that can be applied to may other situations-not just the technical world of engineering. In this class, you are challenged to invent, to create, to design, and to build. You will experience the satisfaction of an exciting activity, resulting in your very own unique product. You will learn to listen to and to respect the ideas of your teammates. You will learn that mistakes are not bad, but that they are a tool that can be used in the accomplishement of your goal. Most of all, you will learn the confidence to resolve your own open-ended problems, and the ability to apply engineering concepts to them. |
Homework
Generally speaking, it is the policy of the Tech Lab, not to assign homework. The exceptions are one very short assignment for Robotic Arms, and a project to do at home in the Electricity class. Other than that, the only work students should have to do at home, would be paper work that they missed when they have been absent |
