Reading Pyramids due JuNe 8!! ```3 books read and journaled = 3 or meets standard!!

May 22- Geo- Complete the Reading Strategy for page 260- quality- 2-3 details per section. Spelling 32 Lesson due Thursday, Pre Test- 5 times each and test Friday.

May 16- Geo- finish reading section 8-3 and filling in the reading strategy.Spelling 31 Lesson due Thursday, Pre Test- 5 times each and test Friday. Remember to bring an empty ceral box or larger cracker box.

May 14- Geo- Complete the Reading Strategy and read ch 8-2 beginning page 235. Complete the Guided Reading worksheet 8-2. MATH MSP TUESDAY (tomorrow) morning.

May 9- Poetry- Completed Acrostic, Haiku, Cinquain, Synonym, Opposites, I Like That Stuff, and I Made a Mistake..

May 8- Poetry- You must have completed an Acrostic, Hauik, Cinquin (5 lines, syllables poem in 2,4,6,8,2 format), and a synonym poem (rhyming couplet with a title). Spelling 30 Lesson due Thursday, Pre Test- 5 times each and test Friday.

May 3- Spelling Review Sentences..You need 10 to 20 sentences using the 20 spelling words correctly. You would have 10 sentences if you have 2 spelling words in each sentence, or 20 sentences if you only use one spelling word per sentence, and any number in between. Spelling Test tomorrow.

May 1- Be sure to bring back signed CBAs! Reading MSP is Thursday. Spelling Review Test 29 on Friday.

April 27 is the final day to turn in any/all late and missing work, along with completed reading journal pages. Anything after this date will not count towards the May 4th Social.

Wednesday April 18- Geo- Guided Reading 7-2, students who missed class will need to read pages 213-219. Spelling 27- Lesson due Thursday, Pre Test -5 times each and Test on Friday.

Tuesday, April 15- Lit- read pages 590-602 answering the 13 openbook questions as you read.

Monday, April 14- Geo- Complete the ABC-Central America booklet and map. Complete the 10 map quesions in Chapter 7. Literature- finish reading the story page 582-82, answering questions 4 and 5 as you read.

March 26- No Spelling this week. Finishing the CBAs and making Aztec calendar stones.

March 16- Grades went in for the CBA (Classroom Based Assesment) as a rough draft score. Students that were not complete with the paragraphs, recieved scores that reflect accordingly. Scores will be improved as the paragraphs get completed. The final drafts will be scored for content-details, as the rough draft is only scored on completeness.
