My Mission

It is my mission to provide my students with a high level education. I am here to offer them the tools necessary to have a successful academic and post high school career. My goal is to keep them on the pathway to becoming a successful contributing member of

society. I will challenge my self to be a life-long learner by continuing my education and working cooperatively with other teachers.

About Mrs. Johnson

Welcome to “our” class. I am very excited to have each and everyone one of you in my class this year. I want to get to know all of you and I want you to know a little about me. This is my Sixth year teaching Math at WVMS. Before I was lucky enough to teach here I was teaching 5th grade in Selah and before that I taught keyboarding and physical education in the Highland School District.
I graduated from Central Washington University with a B.A. in Elementary Education. I completed classes through Walden University (on-line) to obtain my Masters Degree.
I have been married for 9 years to Mr. Johnson and we have a 6 1/2 year old son, Steven, and a 3 year old daughter, Ainsley.
They both keep us very busy. Steven is playing basketball, hockey and baseball. Ainsley is running all over the place trying to keep up with her big brother and has enjoyed participating in gymanastics. As a family we love to go camping during the summer and snowmobiling in the winter. I love being involved with sports….especially basketball.
