Grading

For the most part, assignments are done in class. Weekly Participation will be reported on Family Access as an "S" for Satifactory or a "U" for Unsatisfactory. Scores will also be collected for assignments done in class. Remember…those students who put the most into their work will get the most out of their work. Effort counts!!!

Late Work:

Students with excessive missing work and/or failing grades may be assigned to attend West Valley ’s Schoolwork Completion Program ( SCP ). You will be notified the week prior to your attendance if necessary.

Parent/Student Access :

Students will be checking family access weekly when visiting the library. Parents will be informed about student progress through family access. Please watch for your parent i.d. and password in the mail.
