The end of term 4 is March 9! All Pyramid work needs to be turned in by that day to count for 4th term!

REQUIREMENTS FOR FRIDAY FUN - MARCH 16TH

1) All students must complete 3 books and fill in 3 pyramid sections

2) All students must be receiving a passing grade (A,B,C,D) in REQUIRED ASSIGNMENTS section of the gradebook. Most of these are HOMEWORK assignments.

STRATEGIES FOR STUDYING VOCABULARY:

• Make flashcards
• Highlight key words in the definitions - cover the definition and repeat those words orally
• Have someone in your house give you an oral test
• Draw pictures to represent the words
• Make up a hand movement that represents the word (like in the bugaloo)

STRATEGIES FOR STUDYING SPELLING:

• Have someone give you a pre-test on Monday
• Write your words 3 times each on Tuesday
• Do an oral test on Thursday
• Have someone give you a written test on Thursday - then study those words that you miss

LATE WORK POLICY

• Homework is expected to be turned in on time. Any late work will receive 70% at the highest , depending on the quality of the work..
• Late work will be accepted up until one week before the end of the term in order to receive credit.
• Students who are missing 2-3 assignments will be assigned to SCP(Schoolwork Completion Program), which is Tuesday through Thursday from 2:34-4:00. Parents have to arrange for transportation. On larger projects, students may be assigned to SCP in order to keep up with the process. SCP will start second term.
